I’m Ronda, an avid fan of anything that has to do with water: lake living, water sports, or even quenching a thirst. I moved to Lake Keowee, South Carolina, in 2007 making the break from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta living to enjoy a better quality of life. My fond memories of my childhood on Indian Lake, Ohio, made my decision to become a full-time lake resident easy. Quickly, my self-designed, custom home was recognized and published in Upstate Lake Living magazine in 2008. By combining my creativity, marketing, technical skills, and humor, I pursued my lifelong dream of becoming an interior decorator and blogger having a large focus on lake property home owners. For years my friends have told me that I have an eye for interior decorating, and since I have a quirky sense of humor and writing style, I figured that I’d launch myself into the blog world from both a video and written article standpoint.
I get inspiration from so many things: fabric textures and colors, well-made wood furniture, and pieces that can be sophisiticated yet can be ‘lived in’.
I’ve enjoyed over 23 years in the computer design industry creating and developing software, as well as presenting, demonstrating, and selling software products and consulting services to a host of industries throughout the east coast and southeast areas. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH, along with my M.B.A. in International Business at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
